We first discovered this Côtes du Rhône at one of our favorite local restaurants, Manny’s Bistro — where the Magret de Canard and the moules Provençal are both essential. This medium-bodied Rhône is fruit-forward without being overwhelmed by fruit, and its balanced acidity makes it equally at home with duck and mussels. Chablis achieves its highly distinctive mineral character due to its cool northerly climate and its highly calcareous soil. The Domaine Louis Moreau Petit Chablis is fresh and aromatic, with notes of apple and citrus on the nose. Bright acidity and a roundness on the palate.

Brilliant light yellow color with greenish reflections, Beau-Rivage Blanc strikes the nose as fresh and fruity, with bright lemongrass aromas vibrant notes of citrus. Light-bodied and refreshing on the palate, Beau-Rivage is pleasantly fruity with balanced acidity and good minerality.

Its color is a golden-yellow-green. It exhales fine scents of flowers and white-fleshed fruits. Its characteristic is a well-balanced structure, beginning with a round and fruity taste of peach and apricot and ending on a fresh and persistent note of citrus fruits. Its best aromatic expression is immediately reached in the first year and it continues for two-to-three years.
