BONANZA Cabernet Sauvignon Lot 9 Made By Caymus' Chuck Wagner California 750ml
Bonanza Cabernet Sauvignon Lot 9 — California
Bonanza is the passion project of Chuck Wagner — the legendary winemaker behind Caymus Vineyards, one of Napa Valley’s most iconic estates. The concept is deeply personal: Chuck recalls fondly how his family gathered around the dinner table each night to share his father’s homemade wine, and Bonanza is his answer to that memory. His vision is simple and democratic — delicious Cabernet Sauvignon should be accessible to everyone, not just collectors. Lot 9 is sourced from premium California vineyards across the state, blended with the same meticulous attention to quality that has defined Caymus for decades. This is the bonanza of California — a discovery of land where great Cabernet can be farmed and shared at the everyday table.
The color is a medium ruby-red with depth and clarity. The nose is inviting and expressive: currants, dried roses, ripe blackberry, black currant, grape pomace, and fresh-tilled soil, with hints of vanilla and warm spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied and rich — velvety texture, silky tannins, and an easy, generous drinkability that makes it impossible to put down. This is Chuck Wagner’s gift to the everyday wine drinker: Caymus-level care at a fraction of the price.

Boodles British Gin London Dry 1.0L
Boodles has been one of Britain's most quietly distinguished gins since its recipe was first developed in 1845. Distilled at the Greenall's distillery in Warrington, England, from a base of clean English wheat spirit, it is a gin that takes a deliberately different path from the citrus-forward London Drys that dominate the market — and is all the better for it.
The Boodles British Gin London Dry 1.0L is built on an approachable, herb-driven botanical blend of juniper, sage, rosemary, nutmeg, coriander, angelica root, and caraway seeds — with a deliberate omission of citrus botanicals. The result is a gin of understated elegance: mellow and herbal, with the essential piney juniper notes balanced by warm spice and fresh garden herbs. Exceptionally versatile, it shines in a classic Gin & Tonic, a Martini, or any cocktail where you want the botanicals to speak without citrus interference.
Tasting Notes
- Nose: Understated and herbal — juniper, sage, rosemary, and warm spice

Expert Review
Wine Enthusiast 95 Points | No shrinking violet, this copper penny-hued Scotch hits the nose and palate with a robust but harmonious mix of toffee and peat smoke, in equal measures, finishing dry and spicy. Brancott Estate Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough 2025 750ml
Brancott Estate Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough 2025 750ml is a vibrant, fruit-driven white wine from one of New Zealand's most iconic producers. Sourced from Marlborough's South Island vineyards, it delivers the zesty, aromatic character that has made the region synonymous with world-class Sauvignon Blanc.
The wine pours a pale straw color with green highlights. Zesty aromas of pink grapefruit, melon, and gooseberry jump from the glass. On the palate, flavors of grapefruit, honeydew melon, and passionfruit deliver ripe fruit sweetness balanced by a tight, fresh acidity. Beautifully balanced with a clean, refreshing finish.
Pairs well with fresh seafood, sushi, goat cheese, green salads, and light vegetable dishes.
"This leans into the greener garden veg and dried herb elements of Savvy B, highlighted by some reduction, which tempers the brighter passionfruit notes. There's a bit of sugar that sticks out above the ping of acidity, but overall it's a refreshing drop."

Brand Riesling Feinherb Biodynamic 2024 1L
Winemaker Description
Lively fruit and minerality on a zesty palate. Slightly sweet, with a dry finish. Unfined, unfiltered.
Founded in 1891, the Brand winery has been producing wine in the Pfalz for five generations. Their vineyards are located on limestone-rich soils around the village of Bockenheim, in the northern part of the region, along the border of the Rheinhessen. Daniel and Jonas' father, Jürgen, always farmed their vines responsibly, but when his children took over, they immediately transitioned to organic viticulture, gaining certification in 2017. The Brothers Brand also utilize biodynamic treatments, always experimenting to discover which practices work best in their vines. All of their wines are made with little, if any, added sulfites.
Wonderfully aromatic with lively fruit and minerality and a lovely zest and charge on the palate, perfectly balanced by the residual sugar. The Feinherb Riesling has a slight sweetness on the attack, though the sugar melds perfectly into the body, finishing dry and crisp. No fining or filtration and minimal use of sulfur.

Brendel Cabernet Sauvignon Cooper's Reed Napa Valley 2021 750ml
The Secret Ingredient Is Dirt — Brendel’s Multi-Vineyard Napa Cabernet
Brendel sources from some of Napa Valley’s most coveted sites — the eastern side of Rutherford, the highest elevations of Howell Mountain, two diverse plots in St. Helena, and a steep parcel in Oak Knoll. Their philosophy is simple: great wine starts with great dirt. The 2021 Cooper’s Reed Cabernet Sauvignon is a fresh, vibrant expression of Napa’s famed grape — harvested under moonlight, fermented cool, and aged 9 months in upright oak casks to preserve bright red and black fruit character.
The Wine Advocate 90 Points | Made by the Heitz team led by winemaker Brittany Sherwood, Brendel's 2021 Cooper's Reed Cabernet Sauvignon now includes a sufficient amount of Sonoma fruit to carry a North Coast AVA on the label—this vintage is approximately two-thirds Napa and one-third Sonoma, and the blend includes 5% Petite Sirah and 1% Merlot. Still made in old oak vats to avoid overt wood influence and just medium-bodied, it's something of a throwback stylistically. Although the fruit is quite obvious upfront, combining black cherries and blackberries, the wine is streamlined and somewhat restrained on the palate, finishing with ample length, hints of star anise and a silky texture. (Vintage 2021).
As Featured In
San Francisco Chronicle — “Their range of wines are made from some of the best sites in Napa’s most renowned regions. Each vineyard is chosen for its quality and unique aptitude, with soil types ranging from volcanic to clay to bring out the best in each grape. It’s, as they put it, good dirt.”
